GRANDMA’S chalamada for cold – best RECIPE: No canning or cooking! This is the best side dish I know

Excellent homemade chalamada that tastes like cabbage salad..

It is extremely popular in our country and sells out at lightning speed.

I have the recipe from my grandmother, who tried this chalamada a few years ago, and when we tasted it, we immediately asked her for the recipe.

This chalamada is really the best, it tastes like a salad and is loved even by those who otherwise don’t need chalamada.

We need:

2. 5 kg of cabbage.

1 kg of peppers (I used colored ones).

0. 5 kg of onion.

0. 5 kg of carrots.

15 dg cryst.sugar.

500 ml of vinegar.

1 dl of oil.

1 deco.

Optional:

Cucumber.

Hot pepper.

Procedure:

Clean the cabbage, carrot, onion and pepper and grate them into noodles.

Make a dressing of sugar, vinegar, oil and blanket.

Sieve the dough through a sieve, do not put the mustard seed), mix and pour into the vegetable mixture.

Mix well, let the vegetables combine and let stand for 24 hours.

After that, just bottle it with the juice, close it and put it away in the cold.

You do not need to sterilize.

The jam lasts a very long time, that is, on the condition that you don’t eat it before – it disappears really fast here.

I got about 15 small bottles from the given dose.

The tastiest side dish for Sunday steak and salad. Here, however, this chalamada is also eaten straight from the glass.

Chalamada is a versatile delicacy that you can improve in countless ways.

How to enrich chalamada?

Here are some ideas to enrich its taste.

Fruits and Berries: Add apples, pears, apricots, plums or cherries for a sweet and fruity taste.

For a spicier touch, use currants, gooseberries or cranberries.

Pepper: Red, yellow or orange peppers add color and sweetness to the chalamade.

Onions: Red onions will add a milder flavor, while white onions will be more pronounced.

Spices and Herbs: Chili Peppers, Cayenne, Coriander, Cumin, Cumin, Bay Leaf, Allspice, Nutmeg.

Herbs: Fresh dill, parsley, basil.

Vinegar: Apple cider vinegar, wine vinegar, balsamic vinegar.

Salt: Sea salt, Himalayan salt.Spices: Black pepper, white pepper.

We wish you a good appetite! :).
