Are you looking for inspiration for a quick and tasty lunch or dinner that will please the whole family?
Coated meatballs baked on a baking sheet are a great solution!
Simple and practical food for the whole family
This variation on classic meatballs is not only tasty but also practical.
Just prepare the basic ingredients, put everything together on a baking sheet and let the oven do its work.
You can experiment with different types of ground meat, vegetables and cheeses when preparing food.
The combination of meat, vegetables and cheese guarantees excellent taste and high satiety.
We need:
500 g of minced meat (you can also use poultry, but then do not forget that it is baked for a shorter time).
3 potatoes (approx. 300 g).
2 onions.
3 hard-boiled eggs.
150 g of grated cheese.
1-2 spoons of sour cream.
1 spoon of mustard.
Salt to taste.
Spices to taste.
Optional:.
Herbs to taste.
Spices to taste.
Tartar sauce.
White yogurt.
Different types of cheese.
Procedure:
Finely chopped fry onions in oil until golden.
Grate the potatoes on a coarse grater and season with salt and pepper.
Hard-boil the eggs, peel and finely chop.
Add mayonnaise and mustard to the eggs.
Mix the whole mixture and season with salt and pepper.
We form smaller ‘meatballs’ from the seasoned minced meat, which we gradually place on a tray lined with baking paper.
First, layer the fried onions on top of the meat.
Then we layer the egg – mayonnaise mixture and potatoes.
Finally, evenly layer the grated cheese on top.
If we have new potatoes, I put them raw, if you have older potatoes that need a longer preparation time, I boil them for 5 minutes and then grate them.
Put the tray with the meatballs prepared in this way into a heated oven and bake at a temperature of 180 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
Meatballs are excellent by themselves, there is no need to add anything to them.In the summer, however, you can freshen up the food by adding fresh vegetables or fresh bread.
We wish you a good appetite! :-).
