Cinnamon and Vinegar – what is it good for?
It seems unconventional, but the combination of vinegar and cinnamon is an extremely effective weapon in the fight against the annoying vermin.
This combination uses the properties of both ingredients, which together act repellent on many types of insects.
Just combine these two ingredients and you’ll save money on expensive chemical repellants and lots of stinging and buzzing around the ears.
Why vinegar and cinnamon?
Vinegar: .
Sour smell: Many insects do not like the distinct sour smell of vinegar.
Change in pH: Vinegar changes the pH of the environment, which is extremely unpleasant for many insects.
Removing odor marks: Vinegar can remove odors that attract insects, such as sweet fruit juices.
Cinnamon: .
Intense smell: Cinnamon has a strong smell that is unpleasant for many insects.
Antifungal and antibacterial effects: Cinnamon has natural antiseptic properties that significantly repel insects.
To prepare the recipe we need:
200 ml of water.
200 ml of vinegar.
1 stick of cinnamon.
Procedure:
Pour water into the bottle and add vinegar. .
Then we add a cinnamon stick. .
Shake everything together.
Then spray this solution around window frames, doors, or thresholds. .
You can also apply the solution externally. .
Vinegar combined with cinnamon is incredibly effective against pests. .
For example, you can use it against ants. .
They cannot tolerate cinnamon and therefore will avoid the places you spray this solution by far.
If you spray the window frames, you repel flying insects. .
Repeat the spray regularly and you will have peace of mind from pests. .
