I can preserve fruit WITHOUT SUGAR and without pickle. It is always perfectly sweet and lasts for 2 YEARS: I know this SECRET!

The fruit is very tasty and almost everyone loves it.

The best is of course the one you grow yourself in your own garden..

However, the problem often arises of how to process all the harvest in such a way so that it lasts as long as possible..

We bring you two ways to preserve it – without preparation of pickle and even without sugar.

The first way

We have a great tip for you from YouTube channel Melissa Mir, thanks to which you will learn how to preserve fruit with the longest possible shelf life.

That way it will stay fresh for several months, even 2 years!.

We need:

jam jars.

boiling water.

1 tbsp granulated sugar for each glass.

Procedure:

We first wash the fruit, in the case of stone fruit, we also pit it and dry it.

We will prepare clean, dry and sterilized glasses, into which we will fill the fruit up to the surface..

.

.

Then pour boiling water over the fruit in the glasses, cover with a lid.

Let stand for 15 minutes. .

After this time, pour the water into the pot and bring it to a boil. .

In each glass with fruit pour a spoonful of sugar..

Using a ladle, pour boiling water.

Now we close the glasses thoroughly with a lid and place them upside down on a blanket, in which we will then wrap them. .

We leave the glasses wrapped until they cool completely. .

To preserve raspberries , follow these steps.

We first wash the raspberries, dry them, de-stem them, put them in a bowl and sprinkle 200 g of granulated sugar. .

Mix well, pour into a glass, close tightly with a lid and put in a cool place.

You can store such glasses of fruit in a cool place for 12 months. .

2.way – canning without sugar and without pickle

I found this tip for canning on the tinkinerecepty website – I searched both here and abroad, because both my husband and mother have diabetes and they can’t make normal canning with sugar.

This is a great way to preserve the natural flavor of the fruit and enjoy the healthiest form of canned goodies..

It is necessary to choose ripe sweet fruits that are free of damage, signs of rot or mold.Choose only first-class fruit, after all you are doing it for yourself and your family.:-).

How to do that?

In this way we can preserve any fruit from which we normally make compotes – peaches, apricots, cherries and strawberries.

First, we sterilize the glasses – we can boil them, or use the microwave, for example – I I sterilize the lids and the glasses in the microwave and then rub the lids and the edges of the glasses with alcohol.

Layer fruits in the glasses (small fruits do not need to be cut – larger ones such as apricots, apples or pears are cut).

Layer up to the top and sprinkle with a little salt – it works similar to baking cakes, the salt will support the sweetness and it’s also a preservative.

I read that some people don’t use salt at all, but I add it.

This way we push the layered fruit in the glass with the lid , we have to close the lid tightly.

After sterilization, the fruit releases juice and is sweet even without any additives.

However, if you still want to sweeten, use honey , which you add to the fruit before sterilization and leave to ‘marinate’ together for several hours – then layer in glasses (about 2-3 spoons of honey per 1 kg of fruit).

Sterilize in a pot for 10 minutes ( I sterilize strawberries and raspberries for only 5 minutes so they don’t boil completely) at a temperature of 80-90 degrees.

You will see that the fruit has released juice – it is the juice that will be the main preservative, so see if it is the fruit is covered with juice, if not, we will sterilize it for a while.

Turn it upside down, cover it with a blanket and let it cool completely. and store it in the pantry, like normal preserves.Of course, the cap must not leak or otherwise be loose.

The fruit has an excellent taste, it is just sweet and delicious!

Good luck!
